NCWM Dinner & Learn | Holy Humility

New City Women, join us for our summer series as we consider what it looks like live lives of holiness. Holiness might sound dry, but as Karen Stiller reminded us at our 2026 Women's Weekend, it's a rich, multi-faceted invitation to become the people God calls us to be. 

On July 23, we’re looking at Holy Humility. Humility isn't a popular virtue in our image-saturated, upwardly-mobile, social media world. Rather, we're called to be deeply concerned with and aware of ourselves and our problems, and consider how we measure up to others.

The invitation of Scripture is startling in contrast: to humble ourselves in the example of the Lord and root our identity in the deep truth that we belong to Christ. At this final Dinner & Learn, we'll flesh out how this humility takes shape in the nitty-gritty of our lives.

What does it look like to live a life set apart for and formed by God and the story of Scripture? That's the question at the heart of our 2026 Dinner & Learn series and we hope you join us!

This year, we're doing potluck style dinners! Please bring your favorite summer side dish! New City Women will provide chicken tenders (allergen-friendly), drinks and paper goods for the evening.

We are unable to provide childcare at these events but women are welcome to bring lap-babies.
