Parents and Students,
The spring semester is just wrapping up and students are moving on up to the next grade or heading off to college! NCSM will take a break for the rest of May and then pick back up in June with summer small groups.
When:
Small Groups will continue to meet every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm at the church building. The only Wednesday we won't be meeting is July 2nd during the week of July 4th. For all our summer events, you can refer to the events section on the NCSM page. RSVPing for events can be helpful for planning purposes.
Who:
Who is welcome? Rising 7th graders up to seniors who just graduated are welcome to join us in all of our events. Friends, guests, or visiting family members are also encouraged to join us. We love it when students invite folks to NCSM events! Small groups will be broken up into groups by gender and age.
What:
This summer we will be looking the topic of Knowing Jesus by looking at excerpts from the gospels. Before we hop into small groups on Wednesdays we will gather for games and food in the Atrium and Great Hall. Our goal for the summer is that students will come to know Jesus more clearly and be able to do that in relationship with one another.
How:
How can you serve? This summer we need families to sign up for snacks for small groups and childcare for our youth leaders' children while they serve the teens. You can sign up to bring snacks and to serve in childcare here.
You can also serve us by praying that the Holy Spirit will take the gospel deeper into the hearts, minds, and affections of students. Pray that new students would find their fit, friendships, and faith blessed by Jesus and that leaders would pass on the gospel that has impacted their lives.
